God….Country….Family!

Dear friends,

As many of you already know, I never make a political endorsement unless I am directly involved in that campaign. Today, I deviate to ask for your support in electing a conservative into the Texas State Representative – District 24.

Imagine a neurosurgeon, a business owner, and a US soldier standing at the Texas border. Which of the three do you think will act the swiftest to defend our state and nation from foreign invasions? If your answer is “Of course, a US Soldier,” then I ask you to join me in supporting

Heidi Thiess for Texas State Representative- District 24

Our nation has been under attack for many years now.  If Operation Fast & Furious is any indication to how the suits are failing to protect our borders, then it goes without saying, it is time to call the cavalry.

As a young soldier in the US Army, Heidi once stood next to an American hero by the name of Lt. Col Oliver North and proudly captured a moment of heroism. As an American citizen, she recently watched our nation being weakened by an administration that caters to foreign nations and bow to foreign kings. Heidi, once a soldier always a soldier, engaged herself with the TEA Party and worked relentlessly to bring conservatives back into office. Heidi serves on the board of directors of the Clear Lake Tea Party; she serves on the executive board of Veterans in Defense of Liberty and serves on the board of directors of Gathering of Eagles, a veteran’s organization that she co-founded.

As a wife concerned about the well-being of her family and a patriotic mother concerned about our children’s future, she is proudly sending her son to the United States Military Academy at West Point in just a few short months.  Today, Heidi herself has been called back to duty; not by the US Army, but by a state so desperately in need of her patriotism.

For Heidi, it is about God, country and family; in that order. Heidi may not have the wealth of her opponents or the means to fire off one fancy mailer after another; but Heidi does have the heart and soul of a soldier; once a soldier always a soldier. She is what Texas needs to secure our borders. She is what Texas needs to preserve our first amendment; and, she is what Texas needs to protect our second amendment. And if you do not think our liberty is in jeopardy; then you must not know what OTM, CAIR, sharia law or MB stand for. But you should!

I am not a member of the TEA party, nor am I affiliated with Heidi’s campaign. I am, however, a conservative who believes that our state is safest with Heidi fighting for our liberty in Austin.
