League City, Texas - Heidi Thiess is pleased to announce that Ambassador Sam H. Zakhem has endorsed her candidacy for the 24th State District of Texas. An appointee of Ronald Reagan, Zakhem served as the United States Ambassador to the State of Bahrain from 1986 to 1989. Having served as a state congressman and senator in Colorado, Ambassador Zakhem has the experience to choose someone who stands out from the pack.

These candidates have all been thoroughly vetted, and have been endorsed by the Executive Board of the Clear Lake Tea Party.  None of them have paid to be endorsed, and these are real grassroots citizen campaigns worthy of your support.

LEAGUE CITY, TX-- Gun Owners of America's political arm has announced their endorsement of Heidi Thiess (R) in her campaign for State Representative, District 24. Thiess, a former U.S. Army officer, is a licensed firearms dealer and is running for the open house seat being vacated by Larry Taylor, who has entered the Senate District 11 race against conservative Daniel McCool.

The Texas Conservative Digest has released their list of endorsements for the 2012 Texas primary elections in which voters will go to the polls on May 29th.  Heidi Thiess is pleased to announce that she has been endorsed for Texas House District 24 by Texas Conservative Digest (TCD). 

 Heidi Thiess, the Constitutional Conservative candidate for Texas House District 24, has received the endorsement of Larry Korkmas, President of Texans For Immigration Reduction and Enforcement (TFIRE).  Korkmas is proud to endorse Heidi Thiess for the Texas State House of Representatives.

I'd like to thank the National Rifle Association for their kind letter that I received giving me an "A" for my strong and uncompromising stance for the Second Amendment of our Constitution. The right to keep and bear arms is a fundamental right and as your next State Representative, I will work to undo the federally regulated mandates handed down to the State that infringes on this inalienable right as well as ensure that our rights here in our beloved Texas remain in place. There is a massive push from the gun control advocates to not only take our arms away from us but to regulate our ammunition as well. I will stand toe-to-toe and defend our rights!  Remember, I don't just talk about the Second Amendment - I LIVE it!

Dear friends,

As many of you already know, I never make a political endorsement unless I am directly involved in that campaign. Today, I deviate to ask for your support in electing a conservative into the Texas State Representative – District 24.

Folks, I don’t often support or endorse local races, but in this case I’m going to make an exception because the stakes in the Texas House of Representatives are so high. I’m endorsing and supporting Heidi Thiess for District 24. I’ve known Heidi since she was knee high to a grasshopper. Well, OK, not quite that long but for the last 7 years. We met through a group of bloggers and I’ve always been impressed with her outstanding conservatism and her willingness to say what she believes to be true, not just what is popular.

Heidi is the kind of Texas House Member we need and the kind that will help keep Texas in the limelight that we have enjoyed with our spectacular jobs growth during a recession and our low debt. Please join me in supporting Heidi Thiess for HD 24 in Texas.
